Rimor Converting have recently introduced a new range of mechanical and pneumatic chucks to their comprehensive range of Converting equipment.

This range includes the SM series torque activated chuck with a modular design, they comprise central flanged spindle and quick change adaptors available to suit a range of core sizes from 3” – 12”. Easily changeable in situ this design provides an economical solution to clients who wish to handle varying core sizes without having to change the complete chuck.

All mechanical chucks have automatic locking in either direction, provide high lifts whilst the large area pads ensure cores remain undamaged even when high torques are applied. Internal sealed bearings ensure low maintenance requirements. The PM range of pneumatic mechanical available in sizes 3” -12” chucks requires air pressure to drive the mechanical mechanism. All chucks are available in a stepped version.
